I saw this Reading Challenge on somebody's blog today. I am not sure if it was started on Goodreads or if Goodreads just picked it up and it was started on Popsugar, but I like it either way.

I just recently heard about this book, The Goldfinch, and want to make it my next read. I never read anything until it's old news, it seems, so it will be different to read it while so many others are. I read The Secret History like 16 years ago and have read nothing by Tartt since.

It's my first book by Donna Tartt. The book kept being mentioned on Goodreads and I didn't have anything to read either at home nor on my iPad, so it felt like the right time. I read a bit more than half of it so far. I like the way it's written a lot, but it's very sad and depressing (I get down while I am reading it somehow, so I need to take a lot of breaks with it)
